Venice Paintings from the 18th Century 24 July – 1 November 1987 Exhibition With 70 paintings and oil sketches from public and private collections, as well as churches, the exhibition provided an impressive survey of Venetian painting during the 18th century.The show included history paintings, decorations, altar pieces and vedute, by artists such as Bellotto, Canaletto, Carriera, Longhi, Ricci and Tiepolo.
