E. W. Nay – Variations 27 September – 24 November 2002 Exhibition The German painter Ernst Wilhelm Nay (1902–1968) is one of the most prominent painters of the 20th century, as contributed significantly to the establishment of Modernism in Germany after World War II. The show presented a broad range of typical Nay motifs. A total of 122 works from public and private German collections were on display.
