Frederic the Great Collector and Patron 28 November 1992 – 28 February 1993 Exhibition For the first time in Bavaria, an exhibition was dedicated to Frederic the Great (1712–1786). It presented the Prussian king as a collector and patron and, with 212 objects, showed art and culture at the court of Sanssouci Palace. In addition to paintings by Rembrandt, Van Dyk and Watteau, among others, sculptures, graphic art and a large selection of fine handicrafts were shown.
