Munich Focus ’88 Part I and II 10 June – 2 October 1988 Exhibition The exhibition of contemporary art in Munich was held in two parts. The first part (10 June – 24 July 1988) showed works by Barbara Hammann, Sephan Huber, Hermann Kleinknecht, Gerhard Merz, Johannes Muggenthaler, Aribert von Ostrowski and Dieter Villinger. The second part (5 August – 2 October 1988) showed works by Bodo Buhl, Nikolaus Gerhart, Albert Hien, Ulrich Horndash, Nikolaus Lang, Peter Mell, and Haralampi Oroschakoff. With few exceptions, works from 1987–88 were presented. In most cases, specific spatial and video installations were designed, or paintings and sculptures were created and shown for the first time.
