Munich Focus ’88 Part I and II 10 June – 2 October 1988 Exhibition The exhibition of contemporary art from Munich took place in two parts. The first part (June 10–July 24, 1988) presented works by Barbara Hammann, Stephan Huber, Hermann Kleinknecht, Gerhard Merz, Johannes Muggenthaler, Aribert von Ostrowski and Dieter Villinger. The second part (August 5–October 2, 1988) presented works by Bodo Buhl, Nikolaus Gerhart, Albert Hien, Ulrich Horndash, Nikolaus Lang, Peter Mell and Haralampi Oroschakoff. With few exceptions, all works were created in 1987–88, and many were specially designed room and video installations, as well as paintings and sculptures seen here first.
