Internship in the exhibition office
The Kunsthalle offers regularly two full-time internships for the duration of three months.
Scope of duties
You will assist in all areas of the daily running of the exhibition office, from the organisation of guided tours and events to general administrative activities. Furthermore, you will gain insight into the practical implementation of an exhibition and be actively involved in the de-installation and installation of two exhibitions.
Ideally, you are studying art history, or a similar course with art historical focus, and already have some practical experience. Fluency in German is required. You have a sound knowledge of standard PC programmes (Office, Excel, PowerPoint) and a good command of English. Aa a team player, you are open, friendly and able to work under pressure.
Duration, working hours and remuneration
In order to give students the best possible insight into the daily routine of an exhibition house, the duration of the internship depends on the individual exhibition but is usually 3 to 4 months. The internship always begins on the first day of an exhibition and ends with the vernissage of the subsequent one. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm or from 10 am to 6 pm.
Remuneration will be € 520 per month.
Please send your application in german language to Theresa Scheuermann (email@example.com).
