We hope to see you at the Kunsthalle München soon. Until then, stay healthy!

  • Please book your ticket at the ticket desk or online.
  • Discounted tickets are now available online. However, proof of eligibility must be presented at your ticket desk.
  • If you want to visit the exhibition with children, you will receive their tickets at the ticket desk. We reserve ticket contingents for children.
  • Whenever possible, please make contactless payments at the ticket desk.
  • We will be limiting the number of visitors to the exhibition. There may be a wait, even with a valid ticket.
  • In order to avoid waiting times at the entrance, we recommend that you visit us during the week.

  • The 2G+ rule applies: You need to provide a proof of vaccination or recovery and additionally show a negative test result (antigen rapid test, not older than 24 hours, PCR test, not older than 48 hours, no self-test). Find test locations here. The most nearby test centers are located in the Munich Residenz or at the Maximiliansplatz.
  • People with a third or booster vaccination, as well as persons who have recovered from an infection with the coronavirus after their second vaccination (recovered) are exempt from the obligation to show a negative test result.
  • Children under the age of 14 are exempt from the 2G+ rule. From the age of 14, pupils who are regularly tested as part of their school attendance are considered tested. Appropriate proof must be presented.
  • You must wear an FFP2 mask over your mouth and nose at all times during your visit. Please remember to bring your own mask.
  • In order to protect our visitors and employees, we have to insist that you wear an FFP2 mask during your entire visit, even if you can present a medical certificate.
  • You will find hand sanitiser dispensers at the entrance and exit of the Kunsthalle.
  • All surfaces at the Kunsthalle are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. Glass partitions have been installed at the ticket desk, cloakroom and in the shop.
  • Do not visit the Kunsthalle if you feel unwell or have been in contact with any person testing positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days.

  • We recommend to stay at least 1.5 metres away from other visitors and Kunsthalle staff.
  • The Kunsthalle has set up a separate entrance and exit to minimise contact. Please use the main Theatinerstraße entrance (ticket desk area) only. You can only leave the building via the Kunsthalle shop on the ground floor, with access to the plaza of the Fünf Höfe.
  • Please follow the signs and/or proceed as instructed by staff.

  • You can find our current accompanying program here.
